Course Description: (.25 credit per quarter) All 4 Computer Applications courses will assess the current level of technology literacy of the individual student and help them progress in grade level computer skills specified in Michigan’s Educational Technology Standards and Expectations.  See full document at:

 Process:  The North Kent Computer Lab is equipped with 22 computers connected to the Comstock Park Public Schools computer network.  Students will utilize computers every day on this network and be expected to produce quality products using the most common Microsoft Office 2003 applications, Access, Word, PowerPoint and Excel.  In addition, students will develop skills using a variety of other programs to create video and multi-media productions, as well as general file management and organization techniques.  Students will also be expected to learn more productive and ethical uses for the Internet and World Wide Web, as a research tool.
